Emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation and defibrillation measures: review and implementation algorithms

Abstract

The article discusses the basic measures of emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation and defibrillation, provides a brief overview, and shows algorithms for providing first emergency medical care to victims of a heart attack and various sudden conditions. The sequence of examination of the victim is shown, an algorithm for monitoring the condition of the victim during resuscitation is considered. A brief overview of the equipment used for professional cardiopulmonary resuscitation and electrical cardiac defibrillation is provided
